Protect Global Children helps vulnerable global populations with urgent humanitarian reliefwith community donated surplus.

Our model is based on Sustainability and Humanitarian Relief. In partnership with you, Protect Global Children collects gently used (and some new) surplus clothing, footwear and medical supplies and redistributes to those with urgent humanitarian relief needs.

Our all-volunteer staff collects and sorts items by category, inventories each item which is required by the IRS, and packs these donations for quick distribution upon receipt to their destination.

The result reduces items to landfills and helps underserved populations. How does this benefit you? In the last 24 months, we collected and shipped 40,000+ lbs of humanitarian relief with 95% surplus donated items!

The US often has stricter guidelines regarding expiration dates on surplus medical supplies, therefore, Protect Global Children has a significant focus on the international populations, especially when social services cease during humanitarian disasters.

Recipients are vetted for a reliable logistics system and solid communications to ensure delivery success and assure donations are distributed immediately to those in need.

Fundraising supports shipping by ocean freight to send directly to those in need. Another one of our superpowers is to find and use shipping containers with available space to ship more regularly vs. filling an entire container.

In 2023, our administrative overhead was an incredibly low 3.5% vs. Guidestar's recommendation of 20-25% or less, and Better Business Bureau's recommendation of 30% or less.
